$HASP646 ExplanationThe operator entered a $D N, $D Q, or $D SPOOL command. This message gives the total percent of space used from the volumes available for allocation (ACTIVE volumes). Other spool volumes may be known to JES2, but are not included in the total percent utilization (for example, volumes that have a status of DRAINING, HALTING, INACTIVE, and so on). The utilization percentage is the last response to the $D N, $D Q, or $D SPOOL commands and can be used to gauge the quantity of work the output devices have backlogged. Large percentages of utilization tend to increase overhead in handling SYSIN/SYSOUT data. Full utilization of spool space (100%) causes processing and input of jobs to stop and generally undesirable results follow. In the message text:
