Explanation

>>-FORWARDED DATA SET NAME FOUND. SHOULD------------------------>

>--JES2 FORWARD? (‘Y’ OR ‘N’)----------------------------------><

JES2 initialization has found that the data set specifications read in for CKPT1 or CKPT2 do not match the specifications currently in use. This occurs if the specifications have been read in a data set that has been forwarded.

System action

JES2 waits for the operator's reply.

Operator response

If you reply Y, JES2 searches forward a maximum of 8 data sets until a checkpoint data set with no forwarding specification is found. If no such data set is found, JES2 reissues message $HASP457 and continues to search the next 8 data sets.

If you reply N, JES2 will initiate a checkpoint reconfiguration dialog with the operator to determine the correct data set specifications.

System programmer response

If the data set specifications are obsolete, update the CKPTDEF initialization statement with the correct values.
