During JES2 initialization, the amount of storage required for JES2 processing exceeded the available private virtual storage in the JES2 address space.

In the message text, id can be one of the following values:
BUFFERS
A GETMAIN to allocate JES2 buffers was unsuccessful.
CKPT – I/O
A GETMAIN to allocate storage for the checkpoint I/O area was unsuccessful.
CKPT – 4K
A GETMAIN to allocate storage for 4K checkpoint records was unsuccessful.
DCBS
A GETMAIN to allocate direct access DCBs was unsuccessful.
DCTS
A GETMAIN to allocate DCTs was unsuccessful.
PCES
A GETMAIN to allocate the JES2 processor control element (PCEs) that must be created during initialization was unsuccessful.

System action

JES2 ends.

Operator response

Notify the system programmer.

System programmer response

Reduce the number or size of the JES2 buffers requested, or change other initialization parameters to reduce the storage required to initialize JES2.
