JES2 issues this message in response to a:
  • $D or $T command that specified the OFFn.JT initialization statement.
  • $DU command that either implicitly or explicitly specified the OFFn.JT initialization statement.
If this message is issued in response to a $DU command, it is possible that only STATUS= is displayed. Otherwise, it displays all the keywords defined on the OFFn.JT statement and their current values. The description of the OFFn.JT statement in z/OS JES2 Initialization and Tuning Reference explains each of the keywords.
In the message text:
n
The number of the offload device.
status
The status of the device. The values for status are listed below.
keyword
The name of the keyword.
value
The value of the keyword.
The STATUS= keyword displays the current status of the OFFn.JT device. The possible values for status are:
  • DRAINED
  • DRAINING,(jobid jobname)
  • STARTABLE
  • STARTING
  • INACTIVE
  • ACTIVE,(jobid jobname)
