While running in DUPLEX mode, either:
  • The operator entered a $T CKPTDEF,DUPLEX=ON command
  • The operator replied CKPTDEF DUPLEX=ON in response to a WTOR message during the checkpoint reconfiguration dialog.

Because JES2 could not access the CKPT2 data set on this member, the request could not be satisfied.

System action

JES2 suspends the duplexing function on this member and continues processing.

Notify the system programmer.

System programmer response

Message $HASP414 precedes this message. Examine the completion code given in $HASP414 to determine why the allocation failed and correct the problem. JES2 automatically begins duplexing.
