JES2 has detected a major error during I/O processing to the checkpoint data set. JES2 issues a dump of the checkpoint information in virtual storage.

In the message text:
cde
The error code.

System action

JES2 processing stops.

Operator response

Notify the system programmer.

System programmer response

Use the checkpoint dump and the explanation of the displayed error code under $HASP095 to correct the problem.
