z/OS JES2 Messages

Some messages have optional fields in the text; these are fields that appear in the messages only under certain circumstances. In this document, optional fields are shown enclosed in brackets:
    $HASPnnn message text [optional field]
Some messages have alternative fields; that is, under certain circumstances one field will appear, and under other circumstances another field will appear. One of the alternative fields appear when the message appears on your console. In this information, alternative fields are shown stacked one above the other, enclosed in braces:
    $HASPnnn message text {first alternative }
                          {second alternative}
Each message description includes the following sections:
$HASPnnn message text
Message identifier and text.
Explanation
Explains why the message was issued.
System Action
Explains the action JES2 takes.
Operator Response
Describes any actions the operator should take to correct the problem. (This section is omitted if there is no operator action necessary.)
Application Programmer Response
Describes any actions the application programmer should take to correct the problem. (This section is omitted if there is no application programmer action necessary.)
User Response
Describes any action the user should take to correct the problem, such as resubmitting a job. (This section is omitted if there is no user action necessary.)
System Programmer Response
Describes any actions system programmer should take to correct the problem. (This section is omitted if there is no system programmer action necessary.)
