A network security services (NSS) server provides network security services for one or more security disciplines. Supported disciplines are IPSec, which is a set of services that supports IPSec and IKE processing, and XMLAppliance, which is a set of services for XML appliances. For the IPSec discipline, these services include the IPSec certificate service and the IPSec remote management service. For the XMLAppliance discipline, the NSS server supports the XMLAppliance SAF access service, the XMLAppliance certificate service, and the XMLAppliance private key service.
