Syslogd considerations in a subplexing environment

When you are using subplexing, if you will be starting more than one instance of an Advisor or Agent on the same system, you can configure the syslog daemon (syslogd) to place the output from the different instances of the Advisor and Agent into separate files based on job name, or you can use the syslogd -u start option to cause the user ID and job name to be displayed on each line of the syslog. For more information, see Configuring the syslog daemon.
