Table 1. Creating and destroying windows
Routine Description
XConfigureWindow() Configures the specified window.
XCreateSimpleWindow() Creates unmapped InputOutput subwindow.
XCreateWindow() Creates unmapped subwindow.
XDestroySubwindows() Destroys all subwindows of specified window.
XDestroyWindow() Unmaps and destroys window and all subwindows.
