thus the call is cleared and placed again with the smaller packet
size.

 Tell the system programmer if this message
recurs frequently.

System programmer response
 Add or change an OPTIONS PACKETSIZE
entry on the associated Link specifying the smallest packet size used
by other systems on the X.25 network. Consider using the NPSI GATE
facility rather than DATE. GATE can handle the reduced packet size
without the call to be repeated.
