You can delete a job before or during execution, or you can delete the output of a job before you have retrieved it. Delete a job by using the DELETE subcommand while in the
FILEtype=JES mode and the job ID. You can specify either the 8-character
job ID or a short form of the job ID by entering the letter J followed by a 1 to 7-digit job number. For example,
When you issue the DELETE command, all spool output related to a job is deleted. The host returns the message CANCEL SUCCESSFUL after it deletes the job. |
