z/OS Communications Server: IP Messages Volume 1 (EZA)
SC27-3654-00

Reading message file: message file

Explanation

Falprint is in the process of reading the specified message file. Falprint creates a message file to hold the message identifiers and message text from messages from TCPIP and MVS™ that will not be displayed due to an application that is being run and converts the messages to write to operator (WTO) messages, which are written to the operator's console, allowing them to be displayed.

Note: This message displays the virtual machine communication facility (VMCF) function call returned by the function SayVmcFu, which is called to determine the type of a VMCF function call. For more information about VMCF function calls, see the z/OS Communications Server: IP Programmer's Guide and Reference.
