UNABLE TO TRANSMIT DATA TO ‘name’ AT ‘node’ ExplanationSMTPNOTE is unable to transmit a note to the indicated user at the indicated address. name is the name of the SMTP server started task. For SMTPNOTE CLIST the customization variable is SMTPJOB whose value is used for name. node is the NJE node on which the SMTP server is running. For SMTPNOTE CLIST the customization variable is SMTPNODE whose value is used for node. System actionThe data is not transmitted. SMTPNOTE stops. Operator responseNotify the system programmer of the error. System programmer responseCheck that the name is correct for the SMTP server started task. Check that the node is correct NJE node name where the SMTP server is running. Check that the node exists in the data set IKJTSOxx for the TRANSREC parameter (NODESMF). Make any changes to the SMTPNOTE customization variables or IKJTSOxx data set and try SMTPNOTE again.
