Reply Line too long ExplanationSMTP sends this message to the server console to show that a remote SMTP server’s response exceeded the 512-byte limitation specified by RFC 821. SMTP accepts the reply and truncates it to 512 bytes. See Related protocol specifications for information about accessing RFCs. System actionSMTP continues. Operator responseNo action is needed. System programmer responseIf the error persists, notify the postmaster of the remote SMTP server the SMTP server is sending replies that are greater than the 512-byte limit.
