This call functions in the same way as the equivalent call describedin SELECT call. The format of the COBOL call for the SELECT function is:

CALL ‘EZACICAL’ USING TOKEN COMMAND LOM NUM-FDS
TIME-SW RD-SW WR-SW EX-SW
TIMEOUT RD-MASK WR-MASK EX-MASK
DZERO R-R-MASK R-W-MASK R-E-MASK
ERRNO RETCODE.

In assembler language, issue the macro call CALL EZACICAL, using standard assembler call syntax (for the call format, see EZACICAL call format for assembler language).
