Explanation
The select() API returned an exception.  There is a mismatch between
the listen socket descriptor and the read set returned by the select()
API. 

filtername is the name of the filter registered by the
filter program in the xxfi_name of the smfiDesc variable used on the
smfi_register() API.

The filter program ends and returns MI_FAILURE.
