EZZ6356I Unable to retrieve HOME list for tcpname- description (return_code/reason_code) ExplanationThe command was unable to obtain the HOME list from TCP/IP instance tcpname. If the TCP/IP instance name is TCPIP this might mean that the command is executing in an INET environment and is not aware of the actual name of the TCP/IP instance that is being used. The command tries to obtain the HOME list when the INTF/-i option is specified. tcpname is the name of the TCP/IP stack from which Traceroute tried to obtain the HOME list. description describes the meaning of the Return Code. return_code is the decimal z/OS® UNIX System Services return code. These return codes are listed and described in the z/OS UNIX System Services Messages and Codes. reason_code is the hexadecimal z/OS UNIX System Services reason code. The format of the 4-byte reason code is explained in the introduction to the Reason Code section of the z/OS UNIX System Services Messages and Codes, where the reason codes are listed. System programmer responseIf the reason code was set by the TCP/IP stack, re-create the problem with CTRACE options UDP, PFS, and IOCTL active. Contact the IBM® software support center with the CTRACE. If the reason code was not set by the TCP/IP stack, contact the product that set the reason code for assistance.
