The RECEIVE command can process SYSMODs created by the BUILDMCS command (see The BUILDMCS command). The RECEIVE command processing for such SYSMODs is similar to that for relative files. The RECEIVE command uses the FROMDS operands in the MCS created by the BUILDMCS command to determine which data sets to use as input for SMPTLIB creation. The BUILDMCS command includes the FROMDS operand in the following MCS:

• Data elements
• Hierarchical file system elements
• JCLIN
• MAC
• MOD
• SRC
