Restrictions for the TSO GUI line mode support z/OS ISPF User's Guide Vol I SC19-3627-00 |
|
Applications issuing TGETs must ensure that their TGET buffer is large enough for the user's response. The maximum allowable response is 256 characters. Normally, exceeding this limit results in a return code of 12 or 28 being returned. With the TSO GUI line mode support, a zero (0) return code is returned, and only the amount of data that fits in the supplied buffer is returned. Users running in a Session Manager environment in the 3270 session will see any cross memory messages that appeared in the ISPF/TSO Window displayed again in the session manager screen after the ISPF GUI session ends. |
