The LOCATE primary command scrolls the list of data sets based on the field on which the data set list is sorted, as described under SORT command. Use this format:
You can use the lparm operand with the
LOCATE command for either of these situations:
For example, for a data set list sorted by volume, you could enter:
This command locates the first data set in the list on volume TSOPK1. If the value is not found, the list is displayed starting with the entry before which the specified value would have occurred. |
