R — rename data set z/OS ISPF User's Guide Vol II SC19-3628-00 |

For the R command, the processing is the same as if you had
selected option R from the Data Set utility (option 3.2). The
Rename Data Set panel is displayed to allow you to specify the
new name.
Note: Rename is not allowed for multivolume data sets
from a VTOC list.
