All the fields on the Data Set Utility panel are explained in the "ISPF Libraries and Data Sets" topic of the z/OS ISPF User's Guide Vol I. For option A you can specify any DASD-resident sequential or partitioned data set. For the other options, you can specify any DASD-resident data set that is not VSAM. You can get short information on a VSAM data set.
