Enclose the string in single quotation marks if it contains embedded blanks or apostrophes. Two consecutive apostrophes must be entered to specify a single apostrophe within a search string. If you need to specify a DBCS string that contains a hexadecimal '7D' (X'7D', the hexadecimal representation of a single quotation mark) as half of a DBCS pair, you must use the Mixed mode option.
