Purpose of this information

This documentation contains detailed planning information and procedures you need to install and customize ISPF under z/OS® with the Time Sharing Option Extensions (TSO/E). It explains how to specify configuration options, modify the distributed menus and options, and tune ISPF performance.

Who should read this information

z/OS ISPF Planning and Customizing is designed for system programmers or other people whose responsibilities include installing, customizing, and tuning ISPF. You should be familiar with MVS™, ISPF concepts and terminology as described in the z/OS ISPF Dialog Developer's Guide and Reference, and with the System Modification Program Extended (SMP/E).
