The AIX® resource model represents a composition of resources with an AIX_SYSTEM_COMPLEX as top-level resource. An AIX_SYSTEM_COMPLEX resource denotes a complex of distributed systems running AIX, where the performance data is gathered by a CIM server. All other resources are children or grand-children of the AIX_SYSTEM_COMPLEX. The entire hierarchical model looks as shown in Figure 1.
