PRinT UNIT

Derivation: PRTUNIT identifies the unit number used for PRINT and WRITE statements that do not specify a unit number.

Non-CICS default

PRTUNIT=((6),OVR)

CICS® default

PRTUNIT is ignored under CICS.

Syntax

number

A valid unit number in the range 0-99.

OVR

Specifies that the option can be overridden.

NONOVR

Specifies that the option cannot be overridden.
