You cannot use the prelinker if you specified either the
XPLINK or
GOFF compiler option when you compiled.
Note: The prelinker
cannot be used for 64-bit compiled object modules, therefore you cannot
use the prelinker if any of the object modules were compiled using
the LP64 option.
