If you specify filename with the PPONLY compile option, the compiler writes the preprocessor output to that file. If you do not specify filename with the PPONLY option, the compiler stores the preprocessor output in the file that you define in the SYSUT10 DD statement. If you did not allocate SYSUT10, the compiler generates a default file name, as described in PPONLY | NOPPONLY.
