Tuning performance z/OS UNIX System Services Planning GA32-0884-00 |
|
You need to take some tuning steps because you are combining MVS™ and UNIX. Two tuning situations exist, depending on how your system is being used: as a production system or a porting system. For both, you can take important steps and control resource consumption. Tip: If your system is running in a virtual server or
as a VM guest, the storage size should be at least 64 MB.
To learn how to improve performance on a porting system, read Chapter 8 of Porting Applications to the z/OS UNIX Platform. |
