Checking the mode of the kernel in a running system z/OS UNIX System Services Planning GA32-0884-00 |

To check the mode of the kernel on a running system, issue D OMVS
from the console. If the kernel is running in full function mode,
you will see output similar to the following:
where OMVS=(2W) represents the parmlib setting that was used. If the kernel is running in minimum mode, you will see output similar
to the following:
where DEFAULT indicates that an OMVS setting was not specified in IEASYSxx. |
