Invalid machine instruction at statement number statementNumber. ExplanationThe machine instruction record is malformed. Either the ADATA record is corrupt, or the assembler is outputting machine instruction records containing bad instructions. User responseRecreate the ADATA file and try again. Ensure that the version of the High Level Assembler being used to create the file is not higher than that of the ASMPUT. Also ensure that the recommended maintenance level as documented in the ASMPUT installation instructions has been applied. If the problem persists, report it to IBM service.
