You can customize the default options and DDNAMES for High Level Assembler for z/VM. Refer to Planning to customize High Level Assembler options and DDNAMES to identify what default options or DDNAMES you intend to change.

You use VMSES/E to create a local modification that changes the default options and DDNAMES. You modify ASMADOPT ASSEMBLE on the LOCAL disk.
