The order in which the GDSs are processed determines which GDSs have an ACTIVE status after the recovery process has ended. The data sets in the INCLUDE list are processed first, and in the following order: the level 0 data sets are processed, followed by the migrated and user tape data sets. The data sets in the ALLOCATE list are processed next. The data sets in the ACCOMPANY list are processed last. If the limit is exceeded during the recovery process for a generation data group, then the oldest GDSs roll off.
