Recovering a non-SMS password-protected data set, renaming it, and waiting for completion z/OS DFSMShsm Managing Your Own Data SC23-6870-00 |
|
In this example, you are issuing the HRECOVER command to recover
the latest backup version of the uncataloged data set CLCE.TEXTVER1.TEXT
created on or before 1/05/89 and protected by the password WRITE.
You are naming the recovered version CLCE.VER1TEXT.TEXT and placing
it on volume VOL001, specifying 3380 as the type of unit. VOL003 is
the volume where the uncataloged data set resided when DFSMShsm backed
it up. The WAIT parameter indicates that you want to wait for DFSMShsm to
complete the recovery of the data set.
