Document Composition Facility (DCF)

DCF (Program Number 5748-XX9) is an IBM licensed, text-processing program that you can use to create large, complex, printed documents. DCF contains a text formatter, SCRIPT/VS, that can process documents that include SCRIPT/VS control words and Generalized Markup Language (GML) tags, along with the text. You can use DCF to add navigation information to your document and then retrieve it with AFP Workbench. DCF also supports HTML through a transform.

DCF runs on z/OS®, VM, and VSE.
