INFORMIXDIR environment variable
The INFORMIXDIR environment variable specifies
the directory that contains the subdirectories in which your product
files are installed. You must always set INFORMIXDIR. Verify
that INFORMIXDIR is set to the full pathname of the directory
in which you installed your database server. If you have multiple
versions of a database server, set INFORMIXDIR to the appropriate
directory name for the version that you want to access. For information

To set INFORMIXDIR to usr/informix/,
for example, as the installation directory, enter the following command:
setenv INFORMIXDIR /usr/informix
