Installing Informix Client Products

These topics explain how to install IBM® Informix® Client Software Development Kit (Client SDK) 4.10 and IBM Informix Connect 4.10. Typically, you should install either Client SDK or Informix Connect on your system, not both.

This information is for database administrators or software engineers who install IBM Informix client products. You must be familiar with the operating procedures of your computer and with your operating systems before installing these products. These topics explain how to install Client SDK and Informix Connect as individual products using stand-alone client installation applications. Alternatively, you can install Client SDK or Informix Connect as part of the Informix software bundle installation media.
