Windows: Worksheets for planning details for the Tivoli Storage Manager server
You can use the worksheets to help you plan the amount and location of storage needed for the Tivoli® Storage Manager server. You can also use them to keep track of names and user IDs.
Restriction: If you are using
a File Allocation Table (FAT or FAT32)
file system format, you cannot specify the root directory of that
system as the location of a database directory or log directory. Instead,
you must create one or more subdirectories within the root directory.
Then, create the database directories and log directories within the
subdirectories.
See IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Optimizing Performance (V7.1.1) for server configuration guidelines and best practices.
