Backing up NTFS or ReFS volume mount points

If you perform an incremental backup of a file system on which a volume mount point exists, IBM® Tivoli® Storage Manager backs up the directory (junction) where the volume is mounted, but it does not traverse or back up the data on the mounted volume.

For example, if C:\mount is a mount point, then an incremental backup of the C:\ drive backs up only the junction (C:\mount), and not the data under C:\mount.
