CEMT INQUIRE RRMS

Retrieve recoverable resource management services (RRMS) information.

In the CICS Explorer, the Regions operations view provides a functional equivalent to this command.

Description

INQUIRE RRMS indicates whether CICS® accepts inbound transactional external CICS interface (EXCI) work.

Input

Press the Clear key and type CEMT INQUIRE RRMS (or suitable abbreviations for the keywords).

The resulting display is similar to the following example.

Displayed fields

OPENSTATUS
Displays a value that indicates the status of inbound transactional EXCI work. The values are:
CLOSED
CICS does not accept inbound transactional EXCI work.
OPEN
CICS does accept inbound transactional EXCI work.
UNAVAILABLE
CICS is initialized without RRMS.
