Explanation

CICS and VTAM have been disconnected. This may be because:

  • CICS is terminating, or

  • VTAM is terminating, or

  • The CICS master terminal operator has issued

    
  SET VTAM {CLOSED|IMMCLOSE|FORCECLOSE}

The VTAM ACB is closed.

User response

If VTAM has not terminated, connection with VTAM can be reestablished by using master terminal operator commands.
