Managing your portfolio data
After you set up your portfolio, you can begin to create portfolio data, including organizations, locations, people, and assets.

You set up organization information so that users can use the details to manage assets and other resources at locations within those organizations. - Managing locations
You set up location information to help you track and manage the various locations that belong to, or are managed by, your organization or your organization’s customers. - Managing people
You set up people information so that users can manage assets and other resources that those people use within organizations. - Managing assets
You set up and manage asset information so that users can complete various processes involving those assets, such as managing contracts and leases and planning space and moves. - Managing government data
You set up government information to help you track and manage the various locations, projects, and assets that belong to, or are managed by, your government organization. - Managing contact roles
A contact role is a person that is assigned to a role that has specific role requirements within an organization or business processes. For example, a move planner, Joe Smith, is required to approve a move request. You manage contact role information to ensure that the people in your organization are assigned to the correct roles.
