Counting and picking inventory items

As a service technician, you are assigned work tasks by the inventory manager. With the inventory count, you ensure that the actual quantity of inventory items matches the recorded quantity. With the inventory pick, you pick the required parts and equipment from the inventory location.

  • Counting inventory items
    As a service technician, you can be assigned a cycle count work task by an inventory manager. To complete the task, you must physically count the inventory items and record the actual quantity.
  • Picking inventory items
    As a service technician, you can be assigned a work task to pick inventory. To complete the task, you must pick the parts and equipment from the storage area and record the quantity in the task.
