Turning logging on or off for ENS server profiles

Each Enterprise Name Search server has its own Websphere Application Server log files. You can enable or disable logging for server profiles using the ENS configuration utility. In ENS, logging is either enabled or disabled for all server profiles and is typically only enabled for troubleshooting. You can also modify logging levels.

1. From the Enterprise name search configuration utility Main Menu, enter 6.
2. From the Log Detail screen, enter 1.

   ENTER NUMBER, "back", or "exit": 1

3. Enter back to return to the Main Menu or enter exit to exit the configuration utility.
