Displaying topics in your preferred language in the DB2 Information Center
About this task
The DB2® Information
Center attempts to display topics in the language specified in your
browser preferences. If a topic has not been translated into your
preferred language, the DB2 Information
Center displays the topic in English.
Procedure
To display topics in your preferred language in the Internet
Explorer browser:
In Internet Explorer, click the Tools->Internet
Options->Languages... button.
The Language Preferences window opens.
Ensure your preferred language is specified as the first entry
in the list of languages.
To add a new language to the list, click the Add... button.
Note: Adding a language does not guarantee that the computer has
the fonts required to display the topics in the preferred language.
To move a language to the top of the list, select the language
and click the Move Up button until the language
is first in the list of languages.
Refresh the page to display the DB2 Information
Center in your preferred language.
To display topics in your preferred language in a Firefox
or Mozilla browser:
Select the button in the Languages section
of the Tools->Options->Advanced dialog.
The Languages panel is displayed in the Preferences window.
Ensure your preferred language is specified as the first entry
in the list of languages.
To add a new language to the list, click the Add... button
to select a language from the Add Languages window.
To move a language to the top of the list, select the language
and click the Move Up button until the language
is first in the list of languages.
