Activity monitor routines have been deprecated and might be removed in a future release.

Details

Activity monitor was a graphical reporting tool that was part of the Control Center tools to provide monitor reports. In addition, a set of activity monitor routines provided predefined reports based on a specific subset of monitor data.

In Version 10.1, the DB2® Control Center tools have been discontinued. Therefore, the activity monitor GUI is no longer available. As a result, the following activity monitor routines have been deprecated:

AM_BASE_RPTS
AM_DROP_TASK
AM_GET_LOCK_CHN_TB
AM_GET_LOCK_CHNS
AM_GET_LOCK_RPT
AM_GET_RPT
AM_SAVE_TASK

Resolution

Start to use monitor routines, the db2pd command, or IBM® InfoSphere® Optim™ tools for activity monitoring as they provide the same information.
