To manage application interfaces with the local management
interface, use the Application Interfaces management page.
Procedure
- From the top menu, select . All
current application interfaces are displayed in tabs. Each tab contains
the current addresses and settings for a particular interface.
- Select the tab of the interface that you want to work with.
You can then add, edit, or delete an address on the corresponding
interface tab.
- Add an address
- Click New.
- In the Add Address page, provide details of the address to add.
- Select the Enabled check box if you want
this address to be enabled after creation.
- Select IPv4 or IPv6 to
indicate the type of address to add.
- If IPv4 is selected:
- Under IPv4 Settings, select either Static or Auto to
indicate whether the IPv4 address is static or DHCP-assigned.
Note: Only one address per interface can be set to auto. If an
existing address is already set to auto, then the Auto check
box is disabled.
- Optional: If Static is selected
in the previous step, you must enter the IPv4 address and subnet mask.
If Auto is selected in the previous step, you
can ignore the Address and Subnet
Mask field.
- If IPv6 is selected, enter the
IPv6 Address and Prefix.
- Click Save.
- Modify an address
- Method 1:
- Select the address to modify from the table.
- Click Edit.
- In the Edit Address page, modify as needed. See the "Add an
address " section for descriptions of the fields.
- Click Save to save your changes.
- Method 2:
- In the table, double-click the field to edit.
- Make changes inline.
Note: Only some fields can be edited
inline.
- Click outside the editing field to save the changes.
- Delete an address
- Select the address to delete from the table.
- Click Delete.
- In the Delete Address page, click Yes to
confirm the deletion.
- Test connection to a server
- Click Test.
- On the Ping Server page, enter the IP address or name of the server
to test the connection with.
- Click Test. A message is then displayed
indicating whether the ping operation was successful.
