Adding runtime listening interfaces

Add your application interfaces to the list of runtime listening interfaces only if you have a deployment where Access Manager for Web and Access Manager for Mobile run on separate appliances. This configuration procedure enables communication between the two appliances.

Before you begin

When you run the isamcfg tool, ensure that you specify the runtime listening interface host name and port when prompted.

Define your application interfaces.

About this task

Use the following procedure only if your deployment has Access Manager for Mobile running on one appliance and Access Manager for Web running on a separate appliance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the local management interface.
  2. Click Secure Mobile Settings.
  3. Under Manage, click Runtime Parameters.
  4. On the Runtime Tuning Parameters page, click Add to add a runtime listening interface on port 443:
    1. For Interface, select your appliance interface.
    2. For Port, select or type 443.
    3. Ensure SSL is checked.
    4. Click OK.
  5. Click Add to add a runtime listening interface on port 80:
    1. For Interface, select your appliance interface.
    2. For Port, select or type 80.
    3. Clear the SSL checkbox.
    4. Click OK.
  6. Deploy these changes.
