Changing trace levels for runtime services

You can change the trace levels for all runtime services to control the amount and severity of trace data that is collected by InfoSphere® Streams in the Streams.trace file.

About this task

By default, the trace level for all runtime services is set to Default. This value indicates that the Infrastructure setting is used to set the trace level for runtime services. You can override the Infrastructure trace level by setting the trace level for runtime services to another value.

Procedure

In the Streams Explorer view, right-click an instance, and then click Set Log and Trace levels.
In the Runtime Tracing Level area, set the trace level for all runtime services, and then click OK.
